Polina Bilinsky Mycak

Polina is a 22-year-old advocate and change-maker based in Coogee, NSW, with deep family roots in Ukraine. She is currently studying a double degree in Psychology and Arts (Anthropology) at Macquarie University and is passionate about creating inclusive, safe spaces for young people.
She serves as a youth member on Multicultural NSW’s advisory board and co-chairs the Multicultural Youth Network, ensuring the voices of culturally and linguistically diverse communities influence government decisions. At Macquarie, she also coordinates events and social campaigns for the Women’s Collective, focusing on gender equality and mental health awareness.
An Australian-born Ukrainian youth leader, Polina has been involved with the Ukrainian community for over 17 years and is now the Digital Officer of the Ukrainian Association of Sydney. Her contributions span dance, music, teaching, and leading strategic social media to strengthen cultural identity and belonging.
Driven by lived experience, Polina is committed to challenging harmful societal norms surrounding gender-based assault, consent, and mental health stigma. Through education, empathy, and advocacy, she aims to empower others to grow into their truest selves.
As part of Womn-Kind, Polina brings her lived experience, compassion, and strong voice to help build a world where all young people feel seen, supported, and valued.
