Womn-Kind events bring together girls and gender-diverse young people, families, educators and community champions for experiences that build confidence, connection and leadership. From intimate workshops to big-hearted community gatherings, our events are designed to be inclusive, uplifting and real - where every young person feels seen and supported.

2025 Womn-Kind Event

On Sunday, 12 October 2025, Womn-Kind proudly hosted its flagship event in celebration of International Day of the Girl at the stunning Palm House in Sydney’s Royal Botanic Garden. The afternoon brought together more than 150 girls and young women for a powerful day of empowerment, leadership, and belonging.

Guests took part in interactive sessions, shared a delicious high-tea spread, and connected with like-minded people from across Australia. The atmosphere was one of warmth, honesty, and celebration - a space where every attendee could learn, grow, and feel seen.

With 97% of attendees saying they would come to another Womn-Kind event, the day reinforced the importance of creating spaces that inspire courage, community, and connection.

100% of profits from the event went directly towards funding initiatives that support the wellbeing of girls and gender-diverse young people living in rural, regional, and remote areas - ensuring that the ripple effect of this day continues far beyond the Palm House.

 

2024 Womn-Kind Event

In March 2024, Womn-Kind hosted a powerful celebration for International Women’s Day, bringing together girls and young women aged 14–25 for an afternoon of connection, courage and community. The event created space for honest conversations, shared learning and collective inspiration - reminding every attendee of the power of young women leading with heart.

The gathering wasn’t just about celebrating - it was about creating change. 100% of profits from the event went directly towards providing young people in the Riverina with a 12-month premium subscription to the Womn-Kind App, allowing 100 young people to access free wellbeing support, tools and community for a full year.

The event was proudly supported by brands including Harris Farm, Go-To, Haigh’s Chocolates, JSHealth, and more — each recognising the importance of investing in the next generation of empowered, well-supported women and gender-diverse young people.

  • Aly McKeown – Yoga, mindfulness and mindset educator using her lived experience to help others thrive

  • Ruby Riethmuller – Founder & CEO, Womn-Kind

The day was filled with laughter, reflection and moments of deep connection — a celebration of resilience, leadership and the shared belief that when girls and young women are supported to rise, entire communities rise with them.
