Hailey is the biggest bookworm, having migrated from the Philippines in 2014, she learned english through books, shows and movies. Hailey’s culture is a big part of who she is and loves going back to the homelands to reconnect with family. Hailey’s family inspires her to work hard and to spread kindness wherever she goes, this sparked her love for advocacy around her community in Wagga Wagga and fuels her drive to support others with mental health problems.

Hailey loves to volunteer at her local garden, Erin Earth, Youth of Wagga and the Multicultural Council of Wagga. As a young person, Hailey understands that despite culture, gender and background, everybody deserves a place where they feel a sense of belonging and are welcomed.

She knows that everyone is fighting their own personal battles, making it her mission for every individual to know that help is available and everyone is so worthy and so loved and that change starts with you.
